Anushka Sharma is a Bollywood actor and producer. She was one of the most well-paid actors and has won many awards for her performances. Nush has been a Brand Ambassador for several companies and she has her own women's clothing brand. Forbes Magazine has featured her in their magazine as well. Anushka Sharma's parents are Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Her father is a colonel-retd. The mother of the child is also a homemaker. Her elder brother Karnesh Sharma was in the Merchant Navy and now is an actor. Anushka has completed her studies at Army School in Bangalore, followed by a Master of Arts degree (B.A.) at Mount Carmel College. Anushka holds a master's degree in Arts (Economics). Anushka was hoping to be an actor or journalist rather than an actor. Anushka was able to complete her studies in Mumbai, enrolled at Elite Model Management. She received training from style expert Prasad Bidapa. In 2017, Anushka had her first modeling experience in the Wendell Rodricks' Les Vamps Show at Lakme Fashion Week and was selected by him to be the last model in The Spring-Summer 2007 collection. Anushka Sharma has been involved in several brand campaigns after her Lakme Fashion Week debut. They include ads with Fiat Palio and Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka Sharma, along with her modeling profession, enrolled in an acting academy and began giving auditions for films. Anushka sharma was the first actress to film in 2008, playing Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. She was in the film with Shah Rukh Khan. The actress took a day off to prepare for the screen test, and didn't want to make an unplanned version. Then, she signed on to film three times together with Yash Raj Films. In the movie, she played a young woman who was married to a middle age man (the role Shah Rukh Khan is playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was in 2010's "Badmash Company" together with Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang, Vir Das. This movie was met with mixed review. Anushka Sharma was in the film "Band Baaja Baaraat. She portrayed the role of a Punjabi woman in the middle class who owns her own wedding business. The film received a positive review and proved to be a sleeper hit. The contract of Anushka's for three films under Yash Raj Films was completed with the Band Baaja Baraat.
